MedMan Practice Recognized as Patient Centered Specialty Practice

MedMan is proud to recognize the efforts of Seasons Medical as their Women’s Clinic has achieved the status as Patient Centered Specialty Practice or PCSP. The PCSP program follows medical home concepts from the more common Patient Centered Medical Home or PCMH and applies these principles to specialty practices. Specifically, “Practices that become recognized will demonstrate patient-centered care and clinical quality through: streamlined referral processes and care coordination with referring clinicians, timely patient and caregiver-focused care management and continuous clinical quality improvement.”
Seasons has worked extremely hard to demonstrate its commitment to their patients and to improving their service of care. This recognition, accredited by NCQA, is held only by 231 practices in the US and is the only specialty practice to hold it in Idaho. The group’s ongoing improvement continues as they seek PCMH status this year for their other three primary care clinics.
