New Manager Toolbox

Oftentimes in practices, middle managers or leads are promoted from within because they have proven to be an asset to the organization for various reasons - their work ethic, knowledge and expertise and/or their longevity with the practice. However, do they have the skills to be successful leading a team? We often are not setting these individuals up to succeed because they have not had the training to develop the skillset needed. Skills such as motivating teams, providing feedback, ability to have crucial conversations, hiring, firing - the list goes on. However, we expect them to perform and do well at it. What are you doing to set your new managers up for success?

MedMan offers trainings for organizations and their leadership teams. Let us know if you'd like to learn more.
